Structure and accountability to a manual business.
Sparkles Wash relied on handwritten notes and verbal instructions to track jobs, payments, and staff activity. I designed a digital system that simplified bookings, introduced transparent payment tracking, and automated customer data capture. The goal was to bring efficiency, accuracy, and trust to a process that previously depended entirely on paper.

CORE CHALLENGES
Turning a manual process into a system
The business had no central platform for job tracking or payment visibility. Employees could record incomplete work or take cash without accurate logs. The challenge was to design an interface that was fast enough for real-time use on iPads, while clearly distinguishing between payment methods and enabling partial refunds, upsells, and staff accountability.

APPROACH
Designing clarity for operators and insight for owners
The system was designed with simplicity and scalability at its core. I mapped the entire on-site process, from selecting packages to confirming payments, and built a flow optimised for speed and legibility. Every interaction was designed to reduce errors and capture usable data. The result is a tool that streamlines operations, prevents revenue loss, and builds a foundation for loyalty programs and performance insights.
